The humor potential: How to relieve the strain on your brain

How often have you gotten into bed, and then been at the mercy of invading thoughts that remind you of all the things you haven’t done, or individuals with whom you have issues.

insomnia is a side effect of stress.

Just the tip of the iceberg, there is a vast menu of dark thoughts that love to creep through our brains like scary characters from horror flicks.

Oh, I’m sure there are times when your brain is reviewing good times or events you’re looking forward to experiencing.

For the most part, however, the inability to fall asleep – the tossing and turning, or waking up intermittently – is not connected to feelings of joy. Fear is the antagonist. Our reptilian brain is always ready to feed us information that makes us feel like we’re being stalked by a saber tooth tiger.

As a result we forget that we need to tap into and rely more on our rational brain that is the seat of reasoning. You might want to start practicing how to defend yourself against your irrational thoughts. Ask yourself questions that can bring you solutions rather than problems.

for example: how bad is the case?

Are you so down and out you will have to start tap dancing between two doors somewhere in your downtown area for nickels and dimes?

a little humor always helps with position.

Are there people in your life who can give you more positive insights?

What kinds of strengths do you possess to get you through troublesome times? We are so much more resilient than we could ever imagine.

Create a particular time during the day to worry. By doing this, your mind might leave you alone at night.

Make sure you don’t watch the news or violent films before you go to bed. What’s the point?

Get fresh air, eat healthy food, exercise, laugh, pray, meditate, and be with those you love and who love you. These are the things that help you get to sleep well.

Mother’s Cold Sore Kills Newborn

this article is incredibly sad but we figured it could work for as a admonition for people who are all over mere young babies. so, here goes. a missus in england made her baby fatally sick after she either kissed or touched the newborn while afflicted with a cold sore. babe in arms mira’s immune structure had not developed antibodies to fight off the virus. her mother, charlotte, developed her first indifferent sore a occasional days after giving birth, which went away the greatly next day. unfortunately, that was ample supply time mira to contract the virus. concerned that mira seemed to succumb partial in breastfeeding and was unusually drowsy, charlotte consulted a doctor who assured her that everything seemed fine. later, upon discovering pink spots on the baby’s belly, charlotte her husband, mohamed, rushed mira to a local hospital: ‘on the velocity, i sat in the back of the car with mira,’ recalls charlotte. ’she seemed to pull someone’s leg perked up a bit and was happily playing with my fingers.’ but as soon as they got to pembury convalescent home in tunbridge wells, mira abruptly stopped breathing. ‘it was take pleasure in one of those horrendous scenes from injured,’ says charlotte. ‘it all happened so fast, i just recall thinking that all of those doctors who were with her must be able to help her; that somebody there would know what to do. four hours later, a horrible-faced consultant told them the terrible front-page news. ‘i’ll never forget the look on his brave as he told us: “i’m so sorry. we don’t advised of what’s made mira so ill, but there’s nothing more we can do for the benefit of her,” ‘ says charlotte. the a handful of were asked if they’d liking for to hold mira as her ventilator was switched off. ‘it was horrific. it hadn’t even crossed my mind that she wouldn’t pull through. now we were being asked to hold her for the model time and voice our goodbyes,’ says charlotte.

the duo went home to mourn and await the results of their daughter’s postmortem reports. eventually, they were told why it was that their otherwise bracing little girl had deteriorated so despatch: ‘as it was my first ever polar sore, her tiny body was unprotected,’ says charlotte. ‘if i’d had a off the track sore before, i would have developed some sort of protection to the virus and this would must been passed to mira through the placenta. ‘then after the first six weeks or so, mira would be experiencing begun to develop her own immune system. the consultant said to us afterwards that the fact mira had been breastfed - which boosts babies’ immunity - had helped her to bicker off the infection for a little while longer before it overwhelmed her. ‘it was just incredibly bad luck that my first ever infection coincided with the birth, and i unknowingly transmitted the virus to her in the first few days of her individual. it could have happened by something as above-board as me touching my mouth in my sleep and then picking her up to be nourished her. our mother would feel no qualms about outright powerful people to past due their asses up when they would cow over us or our unimportant brother furtively when we were little. babies are so fragile! we hope that if anything good can come of mira’s death, its that people remember to always be extra cautious around newborns. better yet, just give your spoil to us. we hope that, when and if charlotte and mohamed decide to have another child, that it is happy and sturdy. did i fag out my baby with a graze bid adieu? how an anguished mother didn’t discover the danger of the common cold sore virus until it was too late… [daily mail]

The Obama birth certificate issue may become an issue.

Phillip Berg may have had his case dismissed in a Philadelphia federal court for lack of standing, but cases filed in the last few weeks in eight state courts are still pending over Barack Obama’s citizenship issues.

Berg says he plans on appealing to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Our opinion: the appeal will likely be denied, due to the standing issue.

Berg filed suit in court to force the Democrat nominee to produce an original “vault” copy of his birth certificate. Obama and the Democratic National Committee chose to fight the lawsuit, rather than produce the birth certificate.

Obama left the campaign trail for a few days last week to see his ailing grandmother in Hawaii. Rumors swelled over the timing of the visit. DBKP took the campaign’s announcement at face value.

Yesterday, it was reported that the Hawaii Governor, Linda Lingle, has had the Obama birth certificate placed under seal.

HONOLULU, Hawaii ? Although the legitimacy of Sen. Barack Obama’s birth certificate has become a focus of intense speculation ? and even several lawsuits ? WND has learned that Hawaii’s Gov. Linda Lingle has placed the candidate’s birth certificate under seal and instructed the state’s Department of Health to make sure no one in the press obtains access to the original document under any circumstances.

The governor’s office officially declined a request made in writing by WND in Hawaii to obtain a copy of the hospital-generated original birth certificate of Barack Obama.

A source told World Net Daily “…confidentially the motivation for withholding the original birth certificate was political, although the source refused to disclose whether there was any information on the original birth certificate that would prove politically embarrassing to Obama.”

Meanwhile, Kenyan authorities told WND that “all documents concerning Obama were under seal until after the U.S. presidential election on November 4.”

Odd though the above situation may be, there’s no need to invent rumors, as Jeff Schreiber notes.

From Addressing the Rumors Surrounding Surrick’s Decision:

The newest thing, I see, is that the Hon. R. Barclay Surrick somehow was implored to decide as he did in the Berg v. Obama suit, that the memorandum and order was somehow thrust upon him by a former law clerk who now works closely with Michelle Obama. Fax transmissions shown on the readily-available document have been called into question, as though the judge was sent the decision he was supposed to render.

To which Schreiber replies, “People, come on.”

We couldn’t agree more.

There’s enough questions surrounding this issue without manufacturing any: such as impugning the judge involved. Phillip Berg was always going to have the standing issue against him–whether you agreed with the thrust of his lawsuit or not.

ALL the thrills of parachute jumping with none of its perils were recently experienced by spectators and radio listeners when Maximilian Skupin, stunt artist, broadcast his sensations while falling through space over the airport at Staaken, Germany.

In one hand Skupin held a short wave antenna composed of three metal blades criss-crossed to form a hexagon. Around his waist were strapped two carrying cases containing the transmitter and batteries. A small microphone similar to the mouthpiece used by switchboard operators was suspended just below his mouth. Skupin’s body served as a counterpoise, or ground, for the unique experiment.
